Paul Walker’s Dad Suing Porsche For Wrongful Death

Paul Walker’s dad is suing Porsche for the wrongful death of the “Fast And Furious” actor, saying the vehicle Walker was in at the time of his death lacked certain safety features.
According to PEOPLE, his father filed the lawsuit on Wednesday. He is the executor of Walker’s estate.
The plaintiff alleges the Porsche Carrera GT should have had side-door reinforcements, a stability control system and a breakaway fuel line that may have stopped the car from catching fire after it crashed into three trees in November of 2013. Furthermore, he says the company was aware of the vehicle’s history of control and instability issues.
Walker’s friend, Roger Rodas, was driving at the time of the crash when investigators say he lost control of the vehicle. Police say excessive speed was the cause of the crash, with Rodas traveling between 80-90 mph.
The new lawsuit says “absent these defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker would be alive today.”
